My name is Chisom Okuagu and I’ve been part of the NYC core team since August 2022. While I was born and raised in Arizona, my family hails from Abatete, Anambra state, Nigeria. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018 and have since had the opportunity to live in a few different cities, teach, learn, and grow as a human. I’m currently pursuing medicine with hope to be back in Arizona full time, but in the mean time I enjoy reading, traveling, growing plants, practicing Spanish, and hanging out with friends and family (including a VERY energetic golden doodle).
